AAR to Showcase Easy Access to OEM Factory-New Parts at Seoul ADEX 2017

Aviation supply chain company continues to grow inventory for military aircraft platforms

SEOUL, South Korea, October 16, 2017 – AAR, an independent provider of aviation services and aftermarket solutions to OEMs, government and defense customers worldwide, arrives for the first time at the Seoul International Aerospace and Defense Exhibition (Booth #A65 in the Americas Pavilion) with an expanding inventory of OEM factory-new military aircraft parts, including an exclusive distributorship of Simmonds Precision Products fuel management systems and precision actuation controls.

Parts Supply & OEM Aftermarket Services
AAR has partnerships with over 30 OEMs including Ametek, Crane, Eaton, LORD, Milton, Northrup Grumman, Pratt & Whitney, Unison and UTAS providing military aircraft operators with quicker and easier access to the parts they need.  OEMs partner with AAR to leverage the aftermarket expert’s global sales network and expertise in working with DLA, ITAR and government contracts. AAR also has one of the industry’s largest inventories of expendable, repairable and overhauled parts for military aircraft. AAR provides spare components for all major platforms including F-16, F-15, F-18, V-22, C-130, H-60, CH-47, CH-53, AH-64, UH-1.

Other Government Services
AAR has been a trusted partner of government and military customers worldwide and is uniquely suited to apply commercial best practices to help operate more efficiently. AAR Airlift Group provides expeditionary services for government, operating a diverse fleet of rotary-wing and fixed-wing aircraft to transport passengers and cargo worldwide. Government Fleets Under Contract
AAR helps US military and its allies sustain fleets including the Navy C-40A and Afghan’s C-130s. The Company just won the 10-year landing gear PBL contract for the U.S. Air Force and will provide total supply chain management including purchasing, remanufacturing, distribution and inventory control to support all Air Force depot and field-level, foreign military sales, other services, and contractor requisitions received for all C-130, KC-135 and E-3 landing gear parts.AAR’s NATO-award winning component repair shops in New York and Amsterdam also fix other rotable parts for many military aircraft platforms.

AAR announces divestiture of non-core Landing Gear Overhaul business to optimize portfolio

Wood Dale, Illinois — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to divest its Landing Gear Overhaul business to GA Telesis. The transaction is valued at $51 million and is expected to close in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year, subject to customary and regulatory closing conditions. The divestiture will be immediately accretive to margins and earnings.

AAR resolves Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations with the DOJ and SEC
