AAR Ranked No. 1 in Aircraft Component Services by NATO - 2017
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands, April 17, 2017 — AAR’s (NYSE: AIR) Aircraft Component Repair facility in Amsterdam has been named “Outstanding Source of Repair” and ranked No. 1 among all Component Source of Repair (SOR) facilities for 2016 by the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) and the International Aerospace Management Company (IAMCO), which manages maintenance work for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. AAR has received this prestigious recognition three times since 2005.
AAR Aircraft Component Repair in Amsterdam was cited for its superior product quality, timely delivery, quality assurance services and component support on the NATO AWACS fleet. The facility services rotable components at a state-of-the-art facility equipped to repair, overhaul and maintain more than 22,000 aircraft parts.
“We strive for excellence every day and having our component and repair services repeatedly recognized by NATO validates our efforts and inspires our team toward continuous improvement,” said Eric Bron, General Manager, AAR Aircraft Repair, Amsterdam.
In addition to this latest honor, AAR has repeatedly ranked high in various independent surveys of customers and industry professionals, earning recognition in three key areas: on-time delivery, quality of service and contract administration.
