AAR Named Best Airframe MRO Provider Worldwide
Company’s focus on aviation services provides value to customers
WOOD DALE, Illinois – AAR (NYSE: AIR) was named Best Airframe MRO Provider at the 2015 Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance (ATE&M) Awards ceremony in London. AAR has earned the recognition three times in the last four years, however, this year the category was geographically expanded from “The Americas” region to recognize entrants’ global impact. Winners were shortlisted by ATE&M readers before being vetted by a panel of expert aviation industry judges.
Through its 1MRO service delivery network, AAR provides a consistent approach and process to maintenance and modification work done on every aircraft type across its six aircraft repair stations in the U.S., delivering the same quality service no matter where the work is performed. AAR’s MRO locations include hangars in Indianapolis, Miami, Oklahoma City, Duluth, Minn., and can accommodate both wide- and narrow-body repair work. A new MRO facility being built to serve next-generation aircraft is slated to open in 2016 in Rockford, IL.

Accepting the award for AAR at the London ceremony, attended by more than 500 industry executives, was Pascal Parant, Vice President of Marketing for AAR in Paris.

AAR announces divestiture of non-core Landing Gear Overhaul business to optimize portfolio
Wood Dale, Illinois — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to divest its Landing Gear Overhaul business to GA Telesis. The transaction is valued at $51 million and is expected to close in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year, subject to customary and regulatory closing conditions. The divestiture will be immediately accretive to margins and earnings.

AAR resolves Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations with the DOJ and SEC
