AAR’s Nordisk Receives Orders for Nearly 400 ULDs for Xiamen Airlines’ B787s

Lightweight containers provide substantial fuel and emissions reductions

Hong Kong — AAR’s Nordisk Aviation Products announces it has received orders for nearly 400 lightweight air cargo containers and pallets from Xiamen Airlines for its first Boeing 787-8 aircraft. Nordisk ULDs are the lightest weight in the industry, and will save the airline, which is based in the Fujian Province of China, a minimum 350 tons of fuel a year and reduce CO₂ emissions by more than 1,200 tons.
