Robert S. Gelbard Elected to Board of Managers of AAR Global Solutions, LLC
WOOD DALE, Ill., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) announced today that Robert S. Gelbard has been elected to the Board of Managers of AAR Global Solutions, LLC, a joint venture that was formed to increase AAR's participation in the government and defense services market.
Gelbard is Chairman of Washington Global Partners, a consulting company specializing in crisis management, risk analysis, and project development and implementation. In addition, Gelbard currently serves as a consultant to the Institute for Defense Analyses, the Department of Defense's primary think tank, and is a member of Senior Defense Advisory Boards.

Throughout his career, Gelbard held numerous senior foreign policy positions in the United States Foreign Service, including the President's Special Representative to the Balkans, Ambassador to Indonesia and Bolivia, Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Inter-American Affairs.

AAR announces divestiture of non-core Landing Gear Overhaul business to optimize portfolio

AAR resolves Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations with the DOJ and SEC
