AAR Names Randy Martinez Senior Vice President, Government & Defense Programs
WOOD DALE, Ill., /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) announced today that the Company has named Randy J. Martinez Senior Vice President of Government and Defense Programs.
Before joining AAR in March 2009, Martinez served as the Chief Executive Officer of World Air Holdings, Inc. which, through its subsidiaries, provided air transportation services for the U.S. Government. Martinez also had a distinguished 21-year career with the U.S. Air Force (Colonel retired and Command Pilot). His latest assignment was as the Principal Advisor to the Chief of Staff of NATO's Strategic Planning Staff. His previous assignments included Senior Aide-de-Camp to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Commander of the 457th Airlift Squadron at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and Chief of the Wing Standardization & Evaluation Division at Rhein Main Air Base in Germany.

AAR announces divestiture of non-core Landing Gear Overhaul business to optimize portfolio
Wood Dale, Illinois — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to divest its Landing Gear Overhaul business to GA Telesis. The transaction is valued at $51 million and is expected to close in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year, subject to customary and regulatory closing conditions. The divestiture will be immediately accretive to margins and earnings.

AAR resolves Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations with the DOJ and SEC
