WOOD DALE, Ill., /PRNewswire/ -- AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR) announced today that David E. Prusiecki, Vice President of Defense Programs, has been elected an Officer of the Company. Prusiecki, who has been with AAR since 1979, oversees the Company's marketing that interfaces with the US and foreign government agencies in support of its supply, repair and logistics businesses.
David P. Storch, President and Chief Executive Officer of AAR, commented on Prusiecki's appointment saying, "David's leadership and innovation over the past decade have been the driving force behind AAR's success in expanding the scope of products and services we offer to our government customers. AAR announces divestiture of non-core Landing Gear Overhaul business to optimize portfolio
Wood Dale, Illinois — AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to divest its Landing Gear Overhaul business to GA Telesis. The transaction is valued at $51 million and is expected to close in the first quarter of the 2025 calendar year, subject to customary and regulatory closing conditions. The divestiture will be immediately accretive to margins and earnings.
