Biography
Sean Gillen is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at AAR (NYSE: AIR), a leading aviation services provider to commercial and government customers worldwide.
In January 2019, Gillen joined AAR in his current role where he oversees the financial, accounting, tax, treasury and investor relations functions for the Company.
Gillen most recently served as Vice President and Treasurer at USG Corporation where he was responsible for the leadership and direction of the treasury function, including capital strategy and structure, banking activities, hedging strategies, investor relations, financial shared services and rating agency relationships, as well as M&A activity.
Prior to USG, Gillen was employed at Goldman, Sachs & Company in the investment banking area. He has deep experience in developing the strategy and financing of mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and corporate spin-offs, as well as management of shareholder activism, capital return programs and debt financings.
Gillen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
